Professor Amy Z. Zeng
I have been on the faculty of Business at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), Worcester, Massachusetts, USA, since 1999.
My expertise lies in the areas of supply chain and logistics decision modeling and analysis, and global strategies. At WPI, I teach, research and advise in the areas of supply chain analysis, operational process and decisions, risk analysis, and global planning strategy and tactics. I have taught a handful of courses at various levels, published over seventy articles, and advised dozens of student projects on these subjects. I have also given over eighty talks at numerous occasions, both domestic and international, reviewed manuscripts for over a dozen academic journals, and served on the editorial board of three academic journals.
I fully enjoy the academic life and feel fortunate to have the opportunity to guide and influence students in various age groups. I love to work with all kinds of students and see them grow and prosper under my guidance.
I have two wonderful children, Catherine and Alexander, who are filling my life with more joys as well as challenges. My hubby is trained as a scientist and engineer, and often gives me different perspectives. In my spare time, I enjoy yoga, swimming, dance, and brisk walk.
